1 Month at Cornell

A few days ago marked the first month since FDOC of my first semester here at Cornell University.

I am… figuring things out.

As with the sentiment online, Cornell is hard. really hard. I don’t consider myself to be a horrible student, but the transition to the workload and prelims have been rough. While I’ve had some good grades on a prelim and some quizzes, I’ve also completely bombed a prelim. Anything that you (the reader) may think I got, I definitely got worse.

BUT!

it is ok!

The one thing I am confident about in myself – and the one thing I will forever be confident about – is my ability to figure it out. I have experienced failures before (many of them, in fact!), and I am sure I will be fine.

I shall report back in another month with updates of how life is going :)
